Seeking energetic, motivated individual to join our Food & Beverage team.

Full time and Part time seasonal positions available the season. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; preparation and presentation of quality food as directed by Lead Cook, compliance with all sanitation and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean working area and assisting with stocking of inventory.

Qualified candidates must have knowledge of and experience with standard kitchen equipment, the ability to work a flexible schedule, lift up to 50lbs and one (1) year of line kitchen experience or equivalent training.

Position entails cleaning and sanitizing various items used to prepare, present and serve products, and some assistance with food prep.

Must be able to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays, be able to bend, stoop, lift, carry repetitively while performing tasks, and spend the majority of the shift working on your feet.

Responsibilities include maintaining a comfortable, professional atmosphere while offering various specialized services that help clients look and feel their best. Technician will be required to work on specifically on nails and provide manicures, pedicures, and coloring and nail extensions to clients. Wedding and Catering Sales Manager

Sunday River is looking for a person to join the Conference Sales Team as a Wedding and Catering Sales Manager.  The Wedding and Catering Sales Manager is primarily responsible for planning, soliciting, and coordinating leisure group tickets, room, food and beverage sales.  Also responsible for negotiating room rates, dates and room space for wedding and catering groups/accounts.  This position as a professional outside sales manager will be responsible for selling complex and high-end products and services and requires the employee to be regularly away from the office.  Development and maintenance of positive relationships with wedding and catering groups. and development of marketing strategy to expand market share is also an important aspect of this position.  Excellent written and oral communication, organizational skills, multi-tasking as well as excellent computer skills are required for this professional position.  Prior sales experience is preferred.  This is a full time year round benefited position.

Lift Operator

Seeking energetic, self-motivated team players to join our Mountain Operations team!

Full time seasonal, part time seasonal positions available winter season of 2009-2010. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; safe preparation, start up and operation of aerial and surface lifts, inside and outside duties including lift operation, crowd control, ticket checking, mechanical and procedural checks of lift.

Must have desire to work outside, good customer service skills and train for lift operations repsonsibilities.  Maine Law states that all Lift Operators must be 18 years of age.

Listing and Closing Coordinator and Sales Assistant

Sunday River Real Estate is looking for a dynamic and energetic person to join the Sunday River Real Estate team.  The person hired for this position  is primarily responsible for managing the front desk of Sunday River Real Estate including but not limited to, meeting/greeting customers, contract management and listing management from list start to closing as well as payroll and escrow management as a related sales process.  Responsibilities also include database management including data entry, quality control of data, reporting for use by brokers and marketing analysis, related mailings and communications as generated by marketing.  The ideal candidate will have at least an Associates degree and 1 to 2 years experience in Real Estate or Administrative duties.  Must also be proficient in Microsoft Office as well as database management.  This position is Full Time Year Round with benefits.

Retail Sales Associate

Sunday River is looking for retail sales associates to join the team for full time seasonal employment.  Retail sales associates are responsible for guest sales at Sunday River Sports as well as unpacking deliveries, stocking the floor and other duties as assigned.  Exceptional customer service skills are required.  This position has extensive contact with guests.  Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to cashier, as well as cash overages and shortages, knowledge of current mountain information, adherence to Sunday River dress code, attend staff meetings.  Excellent customer service and communication skills is required.  This position may also include working in the ski rental shop, so a knowledge of ski equipment is imperative.  Previous retail experience is preferred.

Telephone Reservationist

Sunday River is looking for a part time employee to answer phones and take ski school reservations in the Perfect Turn office.  Responsibilities include but are not limited to, answering the phone, taking ski school reservations,  picking up messages and returning phone calls.  Previous customer service experience is preferred.  The ideal candidate is able to communicate in an appropriate manner with guests at all times, accurately able to record information and ability to enter reservations on the computer.  This position is part time with part time seasonal benefits.

Children's Ski School Snow Mobile Driver

Perfect Turn is seeking a Snowmobile Driver to transport children up and down the slope.

Daily responsibilities will include snow mobile safety checks, setting up snow mobile safety equipment, transporting 3-6 year old ski groups up and down the slope via snowmobile.

Qualified candidates must be 21 years or older and have a clean driving record. Applicants must be comfortable working with children 3 -6 years old. This is a part time seasonal position with part time seasonal benefits.

Ski Patrollers

Ski Patrollers: Seeking energetic, self-motivated team players to join our Mountain Operations team! Full time seasonal positions available winter season 2009-2010.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to; attending to the medical needs of injured guests and staff both on and off the hill, assist other mountain operations departments with on hill needs including snowmaking, lift operations and grooming, act as a resource to guests for resort information.

Must be able to ski or snowboard all terrain in all types of conditions. Medical skills such as EMT, OEC, and or WFR need to be current, and current AHA CPR and strong skier/snowboarder. Must be able to work well alone and in teams. Snow test will be given to qualified people. A valid drivers license is required.
