Fall Festival Weekend

 

10th Annual North American Wife Carrying Championships

Saturday 11am

The ninth year running for this unique event that brings athletics to a new level. Competitors will carry their wives, girlfriends or friends over a 280-yard obstacle course with two log obstacles and a water hole.

 
 

26th Annual Blue Mountain Arts and Crafts Festival

Saturday 9am – 5pm ~ Sunday 9am – 3pm

Regional artists and artisans exhibit painting, fine jewelry, pottery, woodworking, photography, and more.  All exhibitors will be located throughout the cafeteria at the South Ridge Base Lodge.

Sunday River Sports Pre-Season Sale

Saturday & Sunday 9am – 5pm

Find great buys on demo equipment, apparel and more inside Everything Sunday River, located in South Ridge lodge. And find the season’s newest gear in the Sunday River Sports South Ridge store.

 

Free Outdoor Concert , Slopeside at South Ridge Lodge

Wine Tasting and Spirit Sampling, Slopeside at South Ridge Lodge

Enjoy an assortment of food including a delectable truffle mousse pâté and parmesan artichoke dip, mouth watering tenderloin of beef, hors d oeuvres and more, perfect when sampling a variety of wines.

Discover some of the Maine-grown, Maine-caught, Maine-made and Maine-raised products that Sunday River’s restaurants feature.  Not only can you sample some of these fresh products, but Sunday River will feature these products in the Fall Festival BBQ.

Chainsaw Woodcarving Demonstrations

Saturday & Sunday 10am & 2pm

Join Bill Fournier as he creates wood sculpture by chainsaw.

 

 

Mountain Biking & Scenic Hikes

Saturday & Sunday 10am – 4pm
