Businesses in New England face challenges that most of regions do not. Our executives, consultants, decision-makers, entrepreneurs and managers are expected to produce the same results as other regions without the same resources. Long drives, scenic by-ways, limited communications capabilities, and a lack of opportunity for professional gatherings and education can be regular challenges for our busy companies to overcome.

Sunday River can help. We are working with state and local business leaders, governmental agencies, developmental organizations, educational institutions, and others to create a unique and much-needed asset for our economic development.

We want to work with you to create an ongoing series of seminars, lectures, classes and meetings in the unique setting of the beautiful Western Maine mountain region. We believe that access to accomplished, nationally recognized leaders in business, law and government will allow the State of Maine to have the same opportunities as other regions to grow professionally.

In addition, we believe that providing intelligent, driven and successful Maine professionals with the opportunity to meet, greet and network is a critical aspect to this growth. As much as lectures can help us understand business innovations and assist us in achieving our goals, meeting the people who can help us get there is as equally important.

We plan to create an affordable means of joining these colleagues of ours in the educational setting that we need, and then giving them access to activities, amenities and social settings where there can be a rewarding exchange of ideas, experiences and services.

In October, we will be hosting an event that we hope will create the experience we are looking for.
