Fall Festival Schedule of Events for 2012*

Free Outdoor Concert , Slopeside at South Ridge Lodge

*Stay tuned for 2013 schedule.

Saturday, 1:00 – 5:30 p.m.
Pete Kilpatrick Band ~ The Pete Kilpatrick Band hails from the music mecca of the northeast: Portland, Maine. They have been writing, recording, and performing regularly since 2004 and have released six independent albums to date, including their most recent, Heavy Fire (2012). They have been named Maine’s best act four times in the Portland Best Music Awards and have performed over 1,000 shows since their formation, sharing the stage with such notable acts as Dave Matthews Band, David Gray, Jason Mraz, Ray Lamontagne, Guster, Amos Lee, Grace Potter and the Nocturnals, Michael Franti and Spearhead, Brett Dennen, The Wailers, Dawes, Blues Traveler, and DJ Logic, among countless others.

Entrain ~ Entrain is back with drums blazing as furious as ever! You'll find it hard to sit still during this tour-de-force of percussive rock music from one of the longest running bands in the Home Grown Music Network. Rhythms literally overwhelm you as this ensemble incorporates a worldwide litany of influences into a freight train of sound! Entrain has recorded seven albums, all of which have been praised for their ability to shift effortlessly between musical styles--from rock, blues, calypso, and ska, to zydeco, jazz, and funk--often within the same song."The whole Entrain concept is based around the drums and infectious rhythms. Once we've got that.... anything goes, everything goes," explains Tom Major.

Foggy Goggle Apres-Party Party
Saturday, 5:30 - 10:00 p.m.

Lovewhip ~ Somewhere between a disco inferno, New Wave exuberance, and Blondie, you'll find the music of Boston band Lovewhip. At times, the group evokes the likes of Missing Persons or the B-52s. Hit it, but don’t you ever quit it. Love Electric is a ride on dance cloud 9 that will keep you up until you realize the light reflecting off the disco ball is actually a sunbeam. While less-original party rockers will find one groove and play it to death, Lovewhip takes seemingly disparate styles of dance music and finds a way to bring them together into an album that isn’t the least bit repetitive.

Sunday, 1:00 - 4 p.m.

Blue James Band ~ The Blue James Band is a US rock band founded and fronted by singer/songwriter Clifton Williams. The band formed in Los Angeles, California, but are now happily based in Boston, Massachusetts. The Blue James Band combines groove-oriented jams and bouncy melody-driven songs with a distinct lyrical style. They have showcased all throughout the country their acoustic/electric jam-pop, never straying far from the formula that makes it successful--catchy hooks, reggae-tinged grooves, and chops-laden solos.
