The Dumont Cup

The 4th annual Dumont Cup is going down March 23-24, 2012 right here at Simon's home resort.

Join freeskiing's top pros plus 200 of the best amateurs from across the country as they descend upon Sunday River for the biggest pro/am ski event in the world and the AFP's first Platinum slopestyle event. 

This year's slopestyle course will be on the Sunday Punch and Rocking Chair trails on Barker Mountain once again for prime visibility and spectating, with Simon is designing the course himself with the support of Sunday River's terrain park team.  With $20,000 up for grabs you'll see top X Games pros working to hold their own against an amateur field that gives them a run for their money. Tom Wallisch, Alex Schlopy and Nick Goepper have been the cup winners over the last three years - with NBC covering the event this year we'll see who takes the top honors in 2012 in front of a national audience.
