Mountain Biking

Whether you’re looking for terrain to learn on or some seriously steep trail to test your skills, the Sunday River Mountain Bike Park offers the perfect downhill playground for all biker abilities.

Boasting 30 trails that stretch out over 25 miles of beginner, intermediate and advanced trail, there is lots of room to explore. Choose from open dirt roads to single track trail featuring jumps, log rides, bridges and berms. New this season, bikers will find two new trails – Tango & Crash and the Not Trail – as well as a new skills park, extended jump line and bigger pump tracks. Weak in the knees just thinking about it? Jumping up and down with excitement? Conserve some energy by letting the Chondola escort you and your bike to North Peak and let gravity do most of the downhill work when you get there.

The Sunday River Mountain Bike Park is open for lift and trail access Friday through Sunday from 10 - 4 p.m. Please note that only bikes with front and rear brakes are permitted to load the lift. To test out the latest in downhill mountain bikes, check out our full fleet of rentals sure to suit your need and ability out of Sunday River Sport in the South Ridge Base Lodge.

Interested in staying where you play? Sunday River offers Bike & Bed vacation packages for as little as $49 which includes lodging and a lift pass!
