New this season at the Sunday River Golf Club is the Harris Golf Discovery School.  With options ranging from intensive two-day instructional programs to one-hour daily clinics offered throughout the season, all golfers will be able to find a golf school option that fits their needs.

Golf School Getaways

Golf School Getaways provide golfers with a stay and play vacation that covers two days of professional instuction.  Packages include two nights of lodging in one of Sunday River's Grand Resort Hotels, breakfast and lunch each day, five hours of daily instruction with a 4:1 student to instructor ratio, use of demo clubs and unlimited range balls.  Packages are available for $599 based on double occupancy and $699 single occupancy.  To make your reservation call 800-543-2754. 

Welcome To Golf

Welcome to Golf is a new class designed for the beginner golfer.  The lesson starts with a tour of the Sunday River Golf Club and then moves into the basics of swing, putting, proper use of various clubs, rules and etiquette. This three-week-long class culminates with actual play on the course guided by the class instructor. Welcome to Golf is held on Sundays and Tuesdays and is open to all golfers. Additionally, a ladies-specific version is offered throughout the season on Saturday afternoons. Cost for the entire class is $99 and includes three vouchers to play nine holes at the Sunday River Golf Club.  To book call the clubhouse at 207-824-4653.
 

Junior Golf Clinics

Junior Golf Clinics helps younger golfers work toward their next level. These clinics are free of charge for junior and family club members; for non-members, the cost is $395 per person and includes a Junior Membership for the attendee upon completion of the class. Each week long session is limited to six junior golfers and covers material such as short game, swing mechanics, irons, woods and hybrids, rules and etiquette. The final day of the clinic is spent playing nine holes with the instructor.  To book call the clubhouse at 207-824-4653.

Daily Golf Clinics

Daily clinics range from basics to more advanced techniques round out the Sunday River Golf Club’s summer calendar. Clinics are one hour long and taught by the Club’s professional instructors.
