Learn To Ski & Snowboard
Sunday River has one of the most comprehensive programs in the country to introduce first-timers to skiing or snowboarding.
All programs start in the Sprint Discovery Center at South Ridge Lodge--an entire facility designed and dedicated to making your experience easy. From the moment you arrive our coaches will be with you through every step of your vourney from selecting the right equipment and clothing to planning your first experience on the slopes. And once you're outside, you'll discover a wide, gentle learning area with a surface lift that makes learning to ski or snowboard fun.
Our Learn To Ski & Snowboard programs are designed for ages 15 and up. Please visit our Kids Ski School page for options for ages under 15.

First Experience Learn To Ski / Snowobard Package
Our First Experience package consists of a three- to four-hour clinics designed to introduce you to skiig or snowboarding for the first time. Your coach will walk you through every step of the process from arrival through your on-snow experience. Package includes equipment rental, on-snow clinic and limited-access lift ticket.* $80
Three-Day Learn To Ski / Snowboard Package
Our Three-Day package will guide you through your first three days on the hill and most effective way to learn to ski or snowboard, guaranteeing you will reach a comfort level in riding the lift and skiing or snowboarding on Green terrain. Day One is our First Experience package, then Days Two and Three consist of 90-minute beginner group clinics. The Three-Day package includes equipment rental, clinics and limited-access lift tickets* for each day. This package may be used on non-consecutive days at Sunday River or Sugarloaf and is valid for one year from the date of purchase. $180
*Limited-access lift ticket includes the Sundance Surface Lift, South Ridge Express, North Peak Express and the Chondola, which covers the majority of Sunday River's Green terrain.
