PEEPs

PEEPsPEEPs is our very own terrain park etiquette and education program.  Once you've gone through the presentation, you will be entitled to one swanky PEEPs pass and qualify for special savings and rewards.  You maybe asking yourself...what does this mean?  What do I get with this pass?

Here at Sunday River we pride ourselves on having the best parks around!  Park users that know how to use our park features only help our mission for more FUN.  Knowing your park etiquette and being educated about terrain parks will always give you a better terrain park experience in the end!

All you have to do is get educated by clicking on the PEEPs logo above and then follow the directions leading you through our program.  At the end you will get a voucher with a serial number that you will need in order to get your PEEPs pass.  Simply print out that voucher and take it to the South Ridge Season pass desk (located in the South Ridge Base Lodge) BETWEEN THE HOURS OF 12:00PM and 4:00PM any day of the week to get your pass.
Have fun out there!!

SMART STYLE

The Freestyle Terrain Safety Initiative, "Smart Style", created by The National Ski Areas Association educates both skiers and riders about the proper use and progression of terrain parks at mountain resorts. the "Smart Style" message along with existing safety messages; will help to heighten the sense of education and awareness about the proper use of terrain parks in a way that is not hard to deliver, or for that matter to digest.

The more people become involved to help spread the word, the better!

There are basically three main messages that are associated with Smart Style.

  • MAKE A PLAN - Every time you use freestyle terrain, make a plan for each feature you want to use.  Your speed, approach, and take off will directly affect your maneuver and landing.
  • LOOK BEFORE YOU LEAP - Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear and clear yourself out of the landing area.
  • EASY STYLE IT - Start small and work your way up.
  • RESPECT GETS RESPECT - From the lift line through the park.
