On Friday, April 11 Simon Dumont broke the world QP record at Sunday River with a corked 900 tail that towered 35 feet above the deck of the world's largest QP. It was built by SPT and the SR Parks Crew. Check out more in the new MSP flick.
3/22 - Re-building tonight
NBJ4 is Sunday. Tonight we're going to dig into the landings and takeoffs to make em smooth for the comp. Also going to setup a judges platform so that we can see the whole course. This means judged runs will be top to bottom. Hope you've mastered the log bonk by now. See ya out there. Roma
3/14 - Local shred
Got out on the hill with SR skier Shea Flynn. He's been out shredding the competition circuit in the east and out in Colorado. Now he's back in town and getting ready for the NAO over in VT in a few weeks. He's got the booters in Rocking Chair dialed pretty well. The landings are getting nice and soft as the sun gets higher so come out and hit it.

2/27 - Holy Snokes!
You need to get up here, because we just got dumped on with over a foot of that fun white stuff on Wednesday and man it's serious out there!! March is here and with it comes some great shredding! All of the parks are open, Starlight Boardercross just keeps getting better and better, and we just did a major overhaul on the South Ridge Jib park. Don't take our work for it get up here and get some.

2/16 - Live Music at NBJ3
This just in: Surf Below Zero will play at NBJ3. Thank Cassidy next time you see him. Come check out some surf tunes while the recently rebuilt jib park is slayed.
2/8 - Event Coverage
Check out these links. The first is coverage of the recent Red Bull One Hit Wonder event. The second is from the Union Square Street Sessions in NYC. Note the quote from SR rider and park crew member Andrew K.
It was a circus scene in the park on Saturday for the One Hit. The event went off without any major glichtes but the fun part was all the kids and coaches from other mountains (to remain nameless) who were pumped on the SR park setup. Here's a couple pics. Big ups to the entire Park Crew for putting out the goods.

1/24 - Riding w/ the crew
1/15 - Stahhhlight
Attention has been paid to Starlight lately. We've dug in and created some rollers and berms with plans to make a bit more snow over there before calling it finished. Once it's done it'll be a grand ole' time. It's still worth checking out in the meantime. Also just an fyi to the little tykes (and their parents) that want to hit the mini-pipe but nothing else in the Jib Park, there's an exit to the left after the mini pipe back out to Sundance. Enjoy.
1/5 - Pipe is open
After a week of pushing and shaping, the Superpipe is open. It'll take a few more cuts to get into primo shape, but the weather for the coming week should help that as it is likely to be a bit warmer. We'll get some pics of it posted in the next few days.
12/30 - Superpipe
Roma and the cat team will be taking on the Superpipe this week. It takes about 250 cat hours to build it so they've got their work cut out for them. It'll be going on by day so you'll notice if you're around.
The Red Bull element is now in place in Rocking Chair and the rippers have been slowly figuring it out. It's a lot to consume. There's a bazzilion different ways to hit it. Try out the totem pole or cabin if the RB is too daunting.
Check out the Union Square page for some results and pics and start gearing up for NBJ2. Also there's a rail session with the Bula Team (JF Cusson and others) happening the day of the Razhel show (Jan 9 ). Odds are we'll set up camp by the Red Bull element. More details to come on that.
12/23 - Some Snaps from the USSSQ
http://www.sundayriver.com/community/index.php?showtopic=8714 and http://cappi.smugmug.com/ have some pics and shtuff. Nick, Greg, Gravy Train, Rambo, Austin and Cassidy all need to catch up on their sleep after opening Rocking Chair and building the sickest event venue in the history of Maine in the same week. Congrats to Cassidy for qualifying for the night session and massive props to SR rider and recently added park ranger Andrew Kahkonen for winning the damn thing and earning big bucks and spot in the NYC event. The Red Bull rail is going into Rocking Chair next week. Dare ya.
12/20 - Union Square Street Sessions Qualifier This Saturday Night
SO MUCH going on. The guys just got Rocking Chair open for the season. It'll grow and get more buffed next week. The Superpipe is getting closer by the day. The Saturday night session at South Ridge is this weekend. The day-time prejam that will offer eight spots to the nighttime event is $20 plus a $10 bib deposit. Register in South Ridge between 8:30 and 10:30 am. Limited to 80 peeps.
12/12 - More Snow = Better Park
I've got good news and bad news. Rocking Chair will not a be a park this weekend. That's because we're making even more snow on it before we start to build. There's also a blizzard on the way. All this additional snow will make for a much better finished product. Since Rocking Chair is much wider this year due to the earthwork we did, it'll take this additional snow to be money. Trust us, it'll be worth it. On a side note - the mini pipe is now open.
12/7 - Meat of the season
Right about now starts a monthlong period when we're all systems go. The minipipe is having snow blown for it. The Superpipe is having snow blown for it. Rocking Chair is having snow blown for it. That'll be a lot of building when the time comes. We're getting ready for the night-lit Union Square Qualifier on the 22nd. This weekend is a double movie premiere at Shipyard on Saturday night and NBJ1 on Sunday. Glad to hear the good reviews of the new SRJP - give the men in black a pat on the back when you see them. Keep chargin out there and so will we.
11/28 - SRJP in the works
Snow is being moved around this week to put together the South Ridge Jib Park in its new home on the Express Lane trail. I'm going to hold back from descibing this park until we get our eyes on it for the first time. This park will be home to NBJ for the year and will have a wide variety of jibs in a nice flow. Some of the marquis elements for the year have been completed and we'll see them out in Rocking Chair later in the year. Forecast has some good temps and some real snow in it.
