The New England Pass is a new season pass offering skiing and riding at Sunday River and Sugarloaf in Maine and Loon Mountain in New Hampshire.
Q: What New England Pass options are available?
The New England Pass will have three versions: an unrestricted Gold Pass, a Silver Pass with 12 blackout dates and a Bronze Pass valid midweek non-holiday.
Q: Will you be offering college season passes next season?
Yes, a New England College Pass will be offered for the 2008-09 season but pricing has not been announced and the pass will not be on sale until this summer. Skiers and riders who will be full-time college students next season should wait and purchase a New England College Pass for the best deal.
Q: Will Maine Student Season Passes be offered next season?
Yes, Maine Student Season Passes will continue to be offered at Sunday River and Sugarloaf next season but pricing has not been announced and passes are not yet on sale. Students who are residents of Maine and age 6 – 18 should wait and purchase a Maine Student Season Pass for the best deal.
Q: Will Bethel Chamber season passes be available next season?
No, Chamber passes will not be offered next season.
Q: Will you be offering a Sunday River-only season pass next season?
Sunday River-only season passes will be available to Maine students only.
Q: Will there be limited quantities of the New England available?
No, there will be no quantity limits on the New England Pass.
Q: Why did the Silver New England Pass blackout dates change from the Silver Maine Pass blackout dates?
The blackout dates for the Silver New England Pass were adjusted based on feedback from Maine Pass holders this season. There are still only 12 blackout dates but fewer Saturdays are blacked out in 2008-09. The blackout dates for the Silver New England Pass are Dec 27-31, 2008; Jan 2-3, 2009; Jan 17, 2009; Jan 24, 2009; Feb 7, 2009; Feb 14-15, 2009.
Q: How age is determined for season passes?
Age is determined by what the pass holders age will be on 11/1/08.
Q: Will you offer the Frequent Skier Card next winter?
Yes, the Frequent Skier Card will remain available at Sunday River, Sugarloaf and Loon Mountain in 2008-09. Pricing will be announced in the fall.
Q: When will you announce lift ticket pricing?
2008-09 lift ticket rates will be announced this fall.
Q: Will you still offer e-tickets online?
Yes, we are still planning to offer the e-ticket program, which allows you to save 10% on lift tickets valid for two days or longer when purchased online at least four days in advance.
Q: Will you be offering VIP lodging rates for season passholders and have rates been set for the season?
We will continue to offer VIP lodging rates for passholders next season. Rates will be similar to last year and will vary over the course of the season.
Q: Does the New England Pass include retail discounts?
The New England Pass will offer retail discounts of 15% for Gold New England Passholders and 10% for Silver and Bronze at Sunday River and Sugarloaf retail stores only.
Q: Will any passholders receive benefits at Boyne’s other resorts?
The New England Pass includes free and discounted skiing privileges at Boyne Resorts’ western resorts. Check the Season Pass page for details.
Q: When can I pick up my New England Pass?
