White Out Weekend 411
Your White Out Weekend 411
You don’t have to be a skier or snowboarder to enjoy White Out Weekend. In fact, sometimes skiing just gets in the way of having a good time. Every classic movie showcases a sexy ski bunny in the lodge sipping hot toddies, making Dorothy Parker comments about her surroundings. Why can’t this be you? Besides, this is the perfect excuse to buy the gorgeous winter parka with the faux fur lining. So, like any other weekend getaway, let’s get started.
Step 1: Secure your room.
There are three choices of types of lodging properties at Sunday River, all of which include ski and snowboard clinics should you choose to actually hit the trails:
Grand Summit Resort Hotel and Jordan Grand Resort Hotel ~ Both hotels are situated directly on green trails for easy in-and-out access during the day. Both offer all the amenities you would expect from a full-service resort hotel, like two restaurants, a health club, and a heated outdoor pool for a luxurious getaway. Special WOW Ski & Stay Packages start at just $155per person per night and include lodging, lift tickets, and ski/snowboard clinics.
- Slopeside Condominiums ~ Sunday River offers 7 condominium
complexes spread across the resort—all slopeside with direct access to the trails. Choose from studio condos to three-bedroom townhouses. All condos have kitchens, access to indoor or outdoor pools, and a host of other amenities to ensure you get that weekend vacation you deserve. Special WOW Ski & Stay Packages (link to WoW Package) start at $115 per person per night and include lodging, lift ticket, and a ski/snowboard clinic.
- Snow Cap Inn ~ The Snow Cap Inn combines all the charm of a cozy
New England lodge with the convenience of a short walk to the slopes. Each room includes two queen-sized beds and a private bath. Special WOW Ski & Stay Packages start at $99 per person per night and include lodging, lift ticket, a ski/snowboard clinic, and breakfast.
