Sunday River is accepting applications for part- time seasonal banquet positions in the Food and Beverage Department for the 2013-2014 season. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: ability to set up for banquets, serve for corporate functions, weddings and other banquet functions. Preference given for T.I.P.S training.
Previous experience preferred but may be willing to train the right person. Must be comfortable in a group setting and have the ability to communicate effectively with guests on a daily basis. Sunday River's Food and Beverage Department is in need of some hard working, dedicated individuals to buss tables in the resort's restaurants. Primarily responsible to clear and reset tables, you are also responsible for filling water glasses, cleaning, sanitation, food prep, dish washing, greeting customers and delivering food and beverages to guests and other duties as needed to create a pleasing atmosphere for the guests. There is extensive contact with guests, requiring a person who can converse with guests and answer questions about the resort as well as other restaurants and attractions in the area. Host or Hostess
Sunday River is looking for people to fill full time and part time positions of hosts and hostesses in the resorts food and beverage department beginning late May 2014. Primary responsibilities are meeting, greeting and seating guests in various areas of the restaurant that meet the customer's needs and balances the number of tables per server. At times the host/hostess will need to assist the wait staff by taking or delivering guests orders, clearing tables. Ideal candidate will know federal alcohol laws hold a current proper service of alcohol certificate, follow sanitation rules and help with other food and beverage functions as needed.

Executive Chef-Jordan Grand Hotel
Do you have experience working in a busy kitchen? Are you up to the task of being in charge of multi-restaurants? This position will fill the role as the leader for the culinary team of the Jordan Hotel which would include Banquets, the Northern Lites Café restaurant, the Sliders restaurant (Seasonally), the Grand Ave restaurant, and hotel special events. This is a hands on position requiring the ability to lead a staff of 20 people or more, while performing a specific job task within the operation. The shifts vary based on business levels and necessary job tasks including weekends and holidays. A typical week may be 5 1/2 days (40-50 hours), with more time being needed during periods of extremely heavy business, for example, Christmas week and Presidents week. Sunday River is looking for part-time and full-time seasonal dishwashers for all its food and beverage restaurants and cafeterias. Conference and Wedding Group Service Coordinator

Director of Conference Sales
The Director of Conference Sales is responsible for lodging, banquet/catering and special event revenue within the conference, social and wedding business segments across two hotels and additional facilities at Sunday River Resort. This position manages the conference sales and group service teams and reports to the Vice President of Marketing & Sales.
- Generating revenue in lodging, banquet/catering and special events in the conference and wedding business segments.
- Work collaboratively with the Director of Leisure Sales and Director of Reservations to maximize overall resort revenue by creating an optimal mix of all business segments including leisure group and transient.
- Recruitment, hiring, training and development of sales team. Ongoing measurement of sales team members.
- Setting sales goals for the department and individual sales managers.
- Development of group lodging rates and packages, and collaboration with other resort departments on pricing of catering/banquet menus, activities, events, and other services
- Develop and conduct sales presentations to prospective clients, directly and in collaboration with sales team.
- Management of group service department including one direct report from the Group Service Manager.
- Develop the vision and standards of the guest experience at the resort for all groups within covered market segments, and ensure this experience is delivered by resort teams.
•· Determine marketing initiatives as they relate to conference and wedding segments and work with marketing department on execution of plans.
- Prepare regular sales reports outlining current sales pace and forecasting of future volume.
- Conduct regular sales and service department meetings
- Represent the company in industry organizations and events.

- Ten years' experience, and preferably in Hotel/Resort industry or related business; ski industry experience preferred.
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or related fields; MBA a plus.

Conference Sales Manager
Sunday River is looking for a team player to join the Conference Sales Department. Duties include but are not limited to plan, solicit, book and coordinate conference groups, room and food & beverage sales to meet/exceed revenue goals. Position is responsible for negotiating room rates, dates and room space for corporate, governmental, association, social, military, education, religious, fraternal, ethnic and athletic (SMERFEA) groups/accounts. Human Resources Generalist
