Condominium Maintenance Technician

Seeking enthusiastic, self-motivated individual to join our Lodging team! One Full time year round position available with benefits. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to; completing maintenance requests, applicable paper work, stock firewood, snow removal, assist housekeeping department when needed and assist guests with varying needs. Qualified candidates must be self- motivated with a solid working knowledge of maintenance functions, and a high level of organizational and troubleshooting skills. Candidates must have 2-5 years of experience in one or more of the following trades; carpentry, drywall, electrical, plumbing, heating, refrigeration, painting, pool/spa care or other equivalent technical skills.

Grounds Keeper

This is a Full Time Seasonal Position. The employee will be responsible for maintaining the outside grounds of the hotel/condos/ base facilities in a neat, clean and attractive appearance on a daily basis. Including, but not limited to spring clean up, trash pick up, sand removal, mowing, landscaping, planting, pruning, watering and general appearance of related grounds.

Banquet Bartenders and Servers

Seeking enthusiastic, energetic individuals to join our Hospitality team.

Part time positions available immediately. Responsibilities include but not limited to: ability to set up for banquets, corporate functions, weddings and other banquet functions.

Must have previous experience in bartending. Must be comfortable in a group setting and have the ability to communicate with guests on a daily basis.

Custodian

Sunday River Condominium is seeking enthusiastic, detail-orientated team-players to join our Condominium team.

1 Full time year round position available immediately. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: cleaning and maintaining pool areas, public area bathrooms, hallways, public common areas, ski locker areas and laundry room. Vacuums, sweeps, scrubs, waxes and polishes floors as necessary. Comply with recycling program. In addition, qualified applicants would be required to shovel snow, sweeping entries and walkways.

Must be physically fit, have the ability to bend, stoop and lift a minimum of 30lbs.

Full time seasonal positions available starting immediately. Essential duties include, but not limited to: basic hotel housekeeping such as, changing/making beds, cleaning rooms and common areas including bathrooms and kitchens, and replenishing supplies.

Must have great customer service and interpersonal skills, and be willing to work weekends and holidays. Candidate must have the ability to repeatedly bend, stoop, climb and descend stairs, and lift/carry 30 pounds repetitively.

Lift Operator

Seeking energetic, self-motivated team players to join our Mountain Operations team!

Full time seasonal, part time seasonal positions available summer season of 2008. Responsibilities include but are not limited to; safe preparation, startup and operation of aerial and surface lifts, inside and outside duties including lift operation,  drilling, loading and unloading of bikes onto and off from lifts, crowd control, ticket checking, mechanical and procedural checks of lift.

Must have desire to work outside, good customer service skills and train for electro-mechanical duties. Maine Law states that all Lift Operators must be 18 years of age.

Lift Mechanic

This job requires advanced maintenance functions required by codes regulating the operation of Aerial Tramways.  Mechanical ability required.  Ability to inspect and adjust equipment as needed, as well as welding and fabricating.  Working at heights up to 65 feet and heay lifting is required for most aspects of this job.  Ability to work alone and on a crew is essential.

Construction Laborer

This position is maintenance and construction related.  Duties may include but are not limited to excavation,form prep, general equipment assembly of lift parts, transportation of parts and supplies to various locations at the resort.  Experience with welding, cutting, rigging, and fitting is a plus.  This is a Full Time Seasonal Position.

R.R.I.P. Technician

This position isa Full Time Year benefited position.  Duties include but are not limited to, collecting and processing vehicle and lift information, supply ordering, receiving of deliveries, stocking, reviewing maintenance logs, synopsis of daily status of mountain operations for meetings.  Paperwork preparation, information gathering such as fuel inventory, road trips, checking vehicle hours and  mileage, and any other duties within the RIP department as needed to operate the resort efficiently.

Recycle Driver

This is a Full Time Year Round Benefited position.  The person hired for this position will be responsible for but not limited to, collecting and sorting recycleable material across the entire resort as dictated by Sunday River's recycling program.  Will assist the manager of the department in all aspects of Sunday River's recycling program, including cleaning, and maintaining recycling collection and storage areas.  Responsible for driving a Sunday River vehicle for collection of recyclables.  A good driving record is required for this position.  Other duties relevant to the resort's needs may be required by the manager.

Ski Patrollers

Ski Patrollers: Seeking energetic, self-motivated team players to join our Mountain Operations team! Full time seasonal positions available winter season 2008-2009.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to; attending to the medical needs of injured guests and staff both on and off the hill, assist other mountain operations departments with on hill needs including snowmaking, lift operations and grooming, act as a resource to guests for resort information.

Must be able to ski or snowboard all terrain in all types of conditions. Medical skills such as EMT, OEC, and or WFR need to be current, and current AHA CPR and strong skier/snowboarder. Must be able to work well alone and in teams. Snow test will be given to qualified people. A valid drivers license is required.
