Monday, January 13
Black Diamond Entertainment Series presents: Hoopalula's Fire Gaia
6:45 p.m. & 7:15 p.m. in South Ridge Hoopalula has been performing at various festivals and events throughout the state of Maine for the past several years and encouraging children to practice "hooping" for both good exercise and good fun. Hoopalula takes "hooping" to the next level by adding fire to their performances! Fire-dancing adds exceptional flair and provides sizzling entertainment that will leave you raving for more. This is a free event and takes place slopeside of the South Ridge Lodge.
7:30 p.m. in the South Ridge Base Area Not to be missed! Our spectacular fireworks show takes place above the slopes of South Ridge. Best viewed slopeside at South Ridge Base Lodge or deckside at the Foggy Goggle. Our fireworks display is presented by Atlas PyroVision Productions.

Black Diamond Entertainment presents: Rainforest Reptile Show
7:00 p.m. at the Grand Summit Hotel Ballroom They are exotic crawlers, unusual slitherers, and fascinating creepers. They are the creatures of the rainforest. The Rainforest Reptile Show was established to educate and entertain people of all ages about reptiles, animals, and the importance of preserving their natural habitats. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel front desks and at Guest Services.
Wednesday, January 15
Snow tubing and Ziplining Extravaganza
4-9 p.m. in South Ridge A whole night dedicated to wintertime fun! Sunday River offers plenty of fun for the whole family. Guests can enjoy snow tubing tonight on Sundance trail, accessed by the Magic Carpet. Swing by the Welcome Center at South Ridge Lodge to grab your ticket. Cost is only $5 per person this night. Quantity is limited, so make your reservtions early! Tubing is open from 4-9 p.m..
Our Twin Zips give you the rush of flying through the air on one long zipline. Plus, with two zips side-by-side you can fly with or race against your friends. The Twin Zips are the perfect introduction to the zipline experience and are a great option for those who don't have the time to take our full Zipline Tour. Twin Zips are open from 4-8 p.m.

Family Festival Night featuring Mad Science- Hands-on Science Discovery Booth
5-8 p.m. at the Grand Summit Hotel Ballroom Join us in the Grand Summit Hotel Grand Ballroom for lots kid-friendly carnival games, children's activities, bounce house, our craft zone extravaganza, and much more. In addition, there will be an interactive hands-on science discovery booth from 6-8 p.m., presented by Mad Science of Maine. Mad Science is on a mission to spark the imagination and curiosity of children by providing them with fun, interactive, and educational programs that instill a clear understanding of what science is, and how it affects their world. Their programs have been experienced by more than 6.5 million children in 25 countries across five continents. Admission is free to this event.
Friday, January 17
4-9 p.m. at South Ridge The perfect end to a busy Children's Festival-- enjoy an evening of snow tubing with the whole family. Kids and parents alike can enjoy lift-serviced snow tubing on the Sundance trail, accessed by the Sundance Surface Lift. Swing by the Welcome Center at South Ridge Lodge to grab your tickets. Cost: $10 per person.
4-8 p.m. The sun never sets in the land of cool and that's certainly true at Sunday River. Thanks to Night Skiing and Riding, you can keep playing well into the evening and get even more out of your days on the mountain. Night skiing will be open until 8 p.m. tonight!
Saturday, January 18
Black Diamond Entertainment presents: Jason Bishop
7:00p.m. at the Grand Summit Hotel Bishop is an international award-winning illusionist who was the youngest person to win the Magician's Alliance of Eastern States Stage Award. He was also one of the youngest people to compete in the Society of American Magicians World-Class competition. The show is surprisingly funny and truly magical, and not to be missed. Tickets can be purchased at the hotel front desks and at Guest Services.
8:30 p.m. at South Ridge Not to be missed! Our spectacular fireworks show takes place above the slopes of South Ridge. Best viewed slopeside at South Ridge Base Lodge or deckside at the Foggy Goggle. Our fireworks display is presented by Atlas PyroVision Productions.

Free Family Activities
Several free family activities such as marshmallow roasting or movie showings are available all week long at the Grand Summit Hotel and the Jordan Hotel. Check with the hotel's concierge for more information on daily activities.
Eddy the Yeti Sightings
You never know where you'll see Eddy the Yeti, but he's sure to be out and about during Children's Festival Week! Check at his house, on the slopes, and all around South Ridge.
