Join us for the 25th Annual Eat the Heat Chili Cookoff & Firefighters' Race. For the first time ever, the events will be held slopeside at South Ridge Lodge and will include live music, a chili-dog eating contest, firefighters' race, and the famous chili cookoff.

Chili Cookoff Weekend Ski & Stay special from $115
Friday and Saturday nights you can stay in a condo for just $115 per person per night, Snow Cap Inn for just $129 per person per night, or stay in one of the Grand Hotels for just $159 per person per night. Prices include lift ticket, plus guests staying in the Snow Cap Inn or Grand Hotels receive free breakfast with their stay. 10AM-12PM Firefighters' Race Firefighters from all around New England team up for this fun event, which raises money for the Sunday River Community Fund. Head over to Lower Broadway on South Ridge and watch as teams of five race down in full turnout gear with a firehose. To sign up for this year's event, please fill out the registration form and send in by March 9, 2015.

11AM-2PM Live music with DJ Honey-BEE.Net.

12PM Eat the Heat Chili Cookoff Chili chefs from all over the state will serve up some of the best chili you'll ever taste in competition for the "Best Chili" and "People's Choice" awards. Samples are $1 each, cash only, and all proceeds benefit Sunday River Community Fund.Eat the Heat Chili Cook-Off at Sunday River View the offical 2015 Chili Cookoff Rules and Regulations. 2PM Chili-Dog Eating Contest This day of fierce competition wouldn't be complete without a chili dog eating contest, because what's better than a hot dog piled high with chili? Uh, nothing. Registration is free and begins at 1PM, at the Bud Light Build a Bar. Up to eight contestants may enter.

Rules of the Chili Dog Eating Contest:
·Each contestant will receive 10 chili dogs.
·The person who finishes their 10 dogs first wins.
