Easter WeekendApril 1, 2018
Bring your family up for a memorable Easter Sunday on the slopes. The day starts with an Easter Sunrise Service on top of the mountain and is followed by our annual Easter Egg Hunt. After our annual egg hunt, take a break for breakfast at any one of our on-mountain restaurants before spending the afternoon skiing and riding with loved ones.
7AM Easter Sunrise Service Join Reverend Donald Coverdale and the Sunday River Christian Ministry for a special Easter Sunrise Service at the top of the mountain. The Chondola will begin loading guests at 6:40AM, with service starting up top at 7AM outside of the Peak Lodge. You are welcome to either ski down after the ceremony or take the Chondola. There will be no skiing or snowboarding available prior to 8AM.
9AM Easter Egg Hunt - South Ridge Base Area
Kids are invited to search for as many Easter eggs as they can find! This year's annual Easter Egg Hunt will take place in the South Ridge Base area. Our annual egg hunt starts at 9AM (sharp! 9:01AM is too late!), please plan to arrive early with baskets or bags in-hand --those eggs tend to disappear fast! Before we say go, kids will be sorted into two age groups to keep things fair. After the hunt, stay around for special appearance by Eddy and Betty the Yetis.
The Great Golden Egg Hunt Challenge
Six golden eggs will be hidden across the slopes of Sunday River. On Easter Sunday, it'll be your job to hunt them down. When you find a golden egg, please turn it in at South Ridge Guest Services for an Easter basket! The Golden Egg Hunt is free and for ages 18 and younger. Stop by any of our front desk locations for rules and riddled hints on Easter Morning.
Trail's End Restaurant, located adjacent to South Ridge Lodge, is hosting their annual Easter Brunch from 9AM to 1PM with great views of Sunday River.
