Bethel Outdoor Adventure makes outdoor recreation available to everyone, regardless of age or ability level. BOA will shuttle you up the river and you can paddle back to their riverfront location. Choose from full day, half day, or even a one-hour trip. The river is easily navigated by those with even minimal experience, however registered Maine Guides are available if desired.
Sun Valley Sports has a variety of canoes and kayaks to rent for half or full day excursions, including all necessary gear plus information on best areas and put-ins for the rivers and lakes of Western Maine and New Hampshire. You can also book guided canoeing or kayaking trips with a certified Maine Guide, who lead tours for paddlers of all abilities and can be a great help in spotting wildlife for the nature enthusiast.
