When planning a ski trip, you want snow you can count on.
At Sunday River, we understand this and are so confident in our snow conditions we make a promise that you'll be happy. It's pretty simple: If the snow conditions aren't up to your expectations, you can turn in your lift ticket and come back another day. How do we ensure that you'll find great snow all season? We start with the most powerful snowmaking system around, then we make a commitment to do whatever it takes to create the best snow conditions possible, regardless of Mother Nature's whims—all season, every season. At Sunday River we make more snow, more often, than any other ski resort in the world to make sure you'll have great conditions whenever you visit.
How It Works
Buy a lift ticket any day this winter, and if after taking at least one run you find that the snow conditions aren't to your liking you can exchange your lift ticket for a voucher to come back another day. Just bring your ticket to Guest Services within one hour after purchase or by 10am for multi-day tickets to make the exchange. Tickets purchased at regular single- or multi-day rates can be exchanged for vouchers that can be used any day through the end of the season.
Tickets purchased at discounted or promotional rates can be exchanged for vouchers of equal dollar value that can be put toward the purchase of another ticket any day through the end of the season. Please note that our snow guarantee is not applicable to half-day or night skiing tickets. Group tickets purchased at regular group rates can be exchanged for vouchers worth $79 for adults, $59 for teens, and $59 for juniors/seniors. Group tickets purchased at a discount from regular rates can be exchanged for vouchers of equal dollar value.
This is a snow guarantee, and cannot be used if you do not like the weather, your favorite trail is not open, a lift was temporarily on hold, or you do not feel well. And as this guarantee is intended to provide you with an opportunity to return another day, vouchers are non-transferable.
Additionally, please note that season passes and limited-duration passes are not eligible for snow guarantees because these products have the flexibility to be used over a wider date range than lift tickets.
