COVID-19 Information

This winter, we will have a variety of eat-in and takeout options for guests visiting Sunday River. Each restaurant will have specific COVID-19 safety practices in place, which will be listed below, as well as on the restaurant's page on the Dining Guide. The River Guide will display which options are available each week during the winter season, and hours can also be found on the Sunday River App.

Safety Practices & Operational Changes

    • Seated restaurants will ask for your name and phone number for contact tracing purposes.
    • Reservations may be required, as dining outlets will have reduced capacity. Restaurant capacity will be monitored at all times. 
    • Digital, disposable, or sanitized menus will be provided. 
    • All Team Members will wear a mask, both in front-of-house and back-of-house.
    • Diners are required to wear masks unless seated for their meal.
    • All Team Members will practice safe hygiene, which includes but is not limited to frequent and thorough handwashing. 
    • Services used by guests will be sanitized in between guests.
    • Sanitizer or wipes will be provided for guests.
    •  All service items will be single-use and/or disposable, and utensils will be wrapped.
    • To offer a minimal-touch experience, some outlets will offer pay-at-table, pay via QR code located on your check, or online when ordering takeout. 
    • Team Members will have their own personal touchscreen stylus to minimize touchpoints on point-of-sale stations. 
    • Plexi guards have been set up at ordering points in restaurants. 
    • Chairs, tables, and general areas will be sanitized frequently, including after each use. 
    • Indoor and outdoor seating has been spaced accordingly to allow for distancing of six feet between parties. Restaurants will not have standing areas. 
    • Seating per table will be limited to no more than eight, most seating four persons maximum. Children dining at the restaurant must be kept at the table. 
    • Grand Ave at the Jordan Hotel will have a soup buffet and seating.
    • Camp at the Grand Summit Hotel will offer seated lunch service. 
    • The Last Run Room at the Grand Summit with lunch and après by Chef Harding Lee Smith.
    • Upper Deck at White Cap Lodge will offer a wine and whiskey bar and food from Shipyard Brewing Company.
    • The Woody food truck will offer grab-and-go options at Barker Lodge.
    • Online ordering will be available for interior and exterior pick-up from the South Ridge Food Court.
    • Open for breakfast and lunch.
    • Call-in ordering available at 207-824-5327.
    • Limit of 5 guests in cafe at a time.
    • Please send one person per order to pick-up food.
