Sunday River is pleased to continue to offer on-site lodging to guests this winter. Please review the guidelines below prior to booking, as well as in advance of your arrival at the resort to ensure you have the most up-to-date information for your stay.

Please note that face coverings are required in all public indoor and outdoor areas at the resort.

Safety Practices & Operational Changes

  • Face coverings are required for all guests and team members in all public indoor and outdoor areas at the resort, unless actively skiing downhill or actively eating.

Please follow CDC recommendations and pertinent executive orders from the State of Maine. Face coverings should be dry and unsoiled, have two or more layers, completely cover the nose and mouth with no holes or mesh, and fit snugly against the face. While indoors, this will most likely necessitate using a separate mask from the one worn while skiing.

  • The state of Maine sets guidelines for lodging guests, including requirements for COVID tests or quarantines for guests from select states. Please review these details prior to your visit and fill out the Certificate of Compliance right before you arrive.

Please note: if you intend to quarantine during your stay at Sunday River to meet travel requirements, you may not use hotel or resort amenities, visit resort restaurants, or access the ski terrain in any capacity.

    • Guests may check-in at the front desk upon arrival, by phone prior to arrival.
