Join us for the best chili around during the Eat the Heat Chili Cook Off. Locted slopeside at White Cap Lodge, local restaurants and hometown heroes will compete to make sure your taste buds sing. A panel of celebrity judges will determine who wins Best Chili, while you vote for People's Choice.

Chili costs $1 per sample, so get there early to try them all! 

Restaurants competing in the 2019 Chili Cook Off include: Camp, Cilantro, Foggy Goggle, Husson University,  Rocket Ron's, South Ridge Food Court, Shipyard Brew Haus, Suds Pub, Tripps Farmhouse Cafe and more!

Our esteemed panel of judges include Steve Minich of WMTW, Jeff Peterson of WGME, Lori Voornas of Q97.9, Bob Witkowski of Visit Portland, Jessie Perkins of the Bethel Area Chamber of Commerce, and Noah Tanguay-Collins of Sunday River TV 1301

Any restaurants looking to participate can fill out the vendor form here and email it back to events@sundayriver.com. There is a limit of 12 chili vendors, so restaurants are encouraged to act fast.
