Trail Networks in the Bethel Area

Bethel, Maine is quickly growing as a mountain bike destination, offering easy access to a number of new trail networks and riding options locally as well as the expansive Coos Trails system just 30 minutes away in Gorham, NH. Riders of all abilities will find fun trails and terrain in the area.

The development of bike trails in Bethel in recent years is large part due to the efforts of Mahoosuc Pathways and support of local property owners and businesses, including the Bethel Inn Resort and Gould Academy. This summer, Mahoosuc Pathways is hard at work building new trails in the expansive Community Forest which will add even more terrain over the coming years.

For some local insight, check out our biking post on the First Chair Blog.
