Scenic Lift Rides

Escape to the mountains and take a ride up to the top of North Peak on our Chondola for sweeping views of the Sunday River Valley and Mahoosuc Mountains, including the third highest peak in Maine, Old Speck. On the way up, you can choose to ride on an open chair or in an enclosed gondola cabin. Then to head back down, ride in a gondola or walk down one of our hiking trails. The Chondola is dog, kid, and grandparent-friendly, so you'll want to pack up your whole family for this scenic adventure. 

You can buy tickets online in advance but will need to pick up your tickets upon arrival. You can also purchase tickets on-site at South Ridge Lodge. If you are a 2024-25 New England Passholder, don't forget to bring your current RFID Go-Card with you, scenic lift rides are free for pass holders but we will need to scan your pass for access. Lift tickets will be issued until 3:30PM or until capacity is reached. The Chondola powers down at 4PM, so if you are planning to ride the lift back down to the bottom, please load before last chair at 4PM.
