Scenic Lift Rides

Escape to the mountains and take a ride up to the top of North Peak on our Chondola for sweeping views of the Sunday River Valley and Mahoosuc Mountains, including the third-highest peak in Maine, Old Speck. On the way up, you can choose to ride on an open chair or in an enclosed gondola cabin. Then to head back down, ride in a gondola, or walk down one of our hiking trails. The Chondola is dog, kid, and grandparent-friendly, so you'll want to pack up your whole family for this scenic adventure. 

Lift tickets will be issued until 3:30PM or until capacity is reached. The Chondola powers down at 4PM, so if you are planning to ride the lift back down to the bottom, please load before last chair at 4PM. 

You can buy tickets online in advance or at the Welcome Center in South Ridge. If you are a 2024-25 New England Passholder, don't forget to bring your current RFID Go-Card with you, scenic lift rides are free for pass holders but we will need to scan your pass for access.

New This Summer

After your online purchase, you will receive two emails: a confirmation email and your "e-ticket" email with your QR access codes. These codes are scanned at the base of the chairlift! You do not need to print the QR codes as they can be scanned from your phone.
