Christmas came early at Sunday River this year. The mountain picked up a foot of fresh snow overnight, adding to what's been an already exceptional December.

The resort's 25th Annual Santa Sunday filled the slopes with holiday cheer and purpose as over 300 skiers and riders, dressed as Santa, raised $10,000 for two nonprofits.

Sunday River will have more than 210 acres of terrain, across six interconnected peaks, open for the weekend following Tuesday's 10-inch storm and a week of nonstop snowmaking operations.
