2019/20 Events Calendar Snapshot

Skiing and snowboarding is as fun as it gets, but Sunday River visitors always get a little something extra with our full lineup of events. For updates throughout the 2019/20 season, visit SundayRiver.com.

November

Nov. 28-Dec. 1: Thanksgiving Weekend
Enjoy delicious meals at our on-mountain restaurants and hit the slopes.

November 30: Demo Day
Test out the season's hottest skis from a variety of brands.

December

Dec. 8: Santa Sunday

250 Santas hit the slopes for a good cause.

Dec. 13-16: Winterfest Weekend
Celebrate winter's arrival and Sunday River's 60th birthday with the first weekend of night skiing for the season, fireworks, and special events.

December 21-31: Christmas Vacation
The best gift you can give is a memorable trip to the mountains. Enjoy holiday events and activities, as well as amazing conditions. 

January

Jan.3-5: Women's Adventure Weekend

After a busy holiday season, it's time to unwind with a weekend of fun on the mountain. With ski and stay packages and parties galore all for women, this will become your favorite post-holiday tradition.

Jan. 6-10: Children's Festival Week
Kids ski free when they show up for this fun-packed week with an adult.

Jan. 27-30: Senior Week
A week of fun on the slopes for the young-at-heart with special activities and events. 

February

Feb. 1: Chef Summit
Bringing top chefs from all over New England, this premier culinary event will excite your taste buds.

Feb. 7-9: White Out Weekend
The wildest weekend on the slopes with the LGBTQ community.

Feb. 8: Telemark Festival
A full day dedicated to freeing the heel, the Telemark Festival will feature demo equipment and special events.

Feb. 15-22: Presidents Vacation Week
Take full advantage of a week off from school to hit the slopes.

March

Mar. 7: 17th Annual Mary's Firemen for a Cure Race

This year's firefighter's race will be put on by Mary's Firemen for a Cure to raise money for breast cancer research. 

Mar. 21: Shipyard Brew Haus Apres Relay

A relay race like no other with fun activities on-snow at White Cap. 

Mar. 28: Spring Apres Concert Series #1
When the weather warms up, enjoy live music in South Ridge Base Area

Mar. 28: Maine Brew Fest Spring Session

Bringing together many of Maine's top brewers, the Brew Fest is a delicious way to sample your way through the state, all in one place.

Mar. 28: Eat the Heat Chili Cookoff
A Sunday River classic to celebrate warmer weather with hot, hot chili.

April

Apr. 3-5: Spring Festival Weekend

Transport yourself to an island, with snow of course. This tropical party is a must-see each spring.

Apr. 11: Pond-a-Palooza
Pond skimming at its finest.

Apr. 11: Spring Apres Concert Series #2
When the weather warms up, enjoy live music in South Ridge Base Area

Apr. 12: Passholder BBQ
Time to celebrate our New England Passholders with a delicious spread—one of the many perks to being a passholder.

Apr. 18: The Great Tailgate
Pack up the grill and head to the slopes. The tailgate lets you ski and ride spring conditions and work on your goggle tan.
