Gould Academy Competition Program
The Gould Academy Competition Program (GACP) is designed for advanced skiers and snowboarders ages 7 to 19 with a desire to improve their ability and compete within alpine skiing, freestyle skiing, or snowboarding. This is a season-long program that runs on weekends and holidays, focused on teaching young athletes the skills to compete in their chosen discipline.
The Locals' Challenge at Sunday River is a dual slalom race held over eight weeks in the winter for skiers and snowboarders. Locals (and wannabe locals) compete as part of a team for the glory of winning the Golden Boot. Win or lose, they're in for tons of fun, including a weekly party at a local bar or restaurant following that day's race.
