7th Annual Slip 'n' Flip
White Cap Base Area, 1PM
Check-in 11AM-12:30PM in the White Cap Lodge
A great chance to rehydrate, the 6th annual Slip 'n' Flip tournament will feature 16 teams of five members each sliding their way to victory on slopes just above White Cap Lodge. In relay fashion, one competitor from each team races down the slip and slide course on a tube to a table at the bottom where they need to chug a cup of Spring Fest punch (a.k.a. water) and then flip the empty cup upright. Once a cup has been successfully flipped, the next competitor can leave the start at the top of the course. This continues until all the cups have been finished. Teams will compete until there is one last team standing as grand champion.
Signup will open soon, stay tuned! It's only $25 per team to register.
Spring Festival Music Line-up:
White Cap Base Area, 11:30AM - 6PM
- The Gravel Project: Described by The Boston Globe as "a night of rocking blues and funk jams," The Gravel Project is the creation of guitarist, composer, and singer Andrew Gravel and brother, Hammond B3 organist Jordan Gravel. With a blues rock sound fused with a funk edge, the band has been creating a buzz with their eclectic style and gaining momentum in Boston, New Hampshire, and all over the East Coast.
- Will Evans & Rising Tide: Will Evans has spent the last decade as the primary song writer, drummer, and front man for the roots rock outfit Barefoot Truth. Will recorded four full length albums and several EP's of his original music with the band. Their most recent release, "Carry Us On", debuted at #10 on the iTunes Rock Chart.
- Muddy Ruckus: Muddy Ruckus is a rock duo of "darkly inventive americana" according to the New York Music Daily. Guitarist Ryan Flaherty and drummer Erika Stahl of Portland, Maine play a grungy style of railroad indie punk blues. This stripped-down power-duo blends rootsy guitar and edgy percussion on a suitcase drum kit, and is known for a full rock band sound.
