Warming Up for Winterfest

With temperatures rising throughout the day, everyone's getting after it. Earning turns and earning après, just in time to jumpstart the weekend. White Cap is looking amazing, with White Heat and Obsession being some of our favorites from today. We have our snowmakers to thank for all of their effort and careful planning to get everything in tip top shape for a Christmas Vacation Week for the books.

Hop on the lifts tomorrow starting at 8am, for skiing and riding on 64 trails and counting, across all 8 peaks. The parks crew has worked diligently on Who-Ville and it will open tomorrow with 8 boxes and rails, as well as snow features. The Upper Sunday Punch park will be taken down and groomed for you to shred down tomorrow. With the warmer temps, snowmaking is coming to a halt tonight, but will return as soon as Mother Nature pulls through.

Tomorrow we will be celebrating our 59th Birthday with our annual Winterfest. Enjoy the kick-off to night skiing for only $5, events at the Foggy Goggle, a visit with Santa, and our torchlight parade, followed by fireworks.

Our peak to peak terrain expansion provides ski-in/ski-out access from Jordan Hotel, the Grand Summit Hotel, and all condos. So now is the time to book your stay on the slopes for this weekend, so your skis can be your only method of transportation.

We're in full holiday spirit for Christmas Vacation Week and ready for après parties at the Foggy Goggle, watching fire dancing and fireworks, bringing the kiddos to an Eddy & Betty the Yeti Dinner, and much more. If you're bringing the family along, we've even put together a guide for how to do Christmas on the slopes with kids.

Barker Lodge, South Ridge Lodge, and White Cap Lodge are open daily for lift tickets, parking, and lift access. Lift tickets are currently full price at the window, but if you're savvy you'll save money with a season pass, by buying lift tickets online in advance, or with a Threedom Pass -  which is on pre-season sale until this Saturday, December 15th.  We also have a few lodging sales ending this weekend, so don't miss out.

To get information on the go download the Sunday River App, and for updates on what's going on each weekend check out the River Guide.

See you at Winterfest!
