Taste What's New at Sunday River

Where Their Passion Meets Your Plate

Ember

Executive Chef Brian Nichols and the team at Ember hit the ground running when they opened in December 2025 and haven't looked back. This isn't just another mountain restaurant. It's a culinary experience where every dish reflects passion, intention, and the power of a meal to bring people together.

There's no wrong thing to order. Every bite is perfection. The fried artichokes have already become a guest favorite, but the entire menu deserves your attention. The ambiance strikes that rare balance of warm, inviting, and elegant. Inside, intimate dining. Outside, individual igloos that transform dinner into something truly special.

Thursday and Friday evenings bring happy hour from 3-5 PM, with $2 oysters on the half shell and $10 select wines by the glass. Open Wednesday through Sunday evenings at the Grand Summit, Ember is the sophisticated complement to Camp and an absolute must-visit this season.

ME → New York's Little Italy

Sliders

Executive Chef Chad Davidowicz knows what it means to bring people together over a great meal. At Sliders, the menu reads like a love letter to New York's Little Italy, with every dish crafted to make you forget you're still in your ski boots.

The starters alone will tell you everything you need to know. Think golden, crispy arancini or New York whipped ricotta so good you'll want to lick the bowl. From there, it only gets better. The tableside carbonara is theater and taste in one, tossed in an aged wheel of Parmigiano Reggiano right before your eyes. Or go for something like the tomahawk ribeye that doesn't need fanfare because it speaks for itself.

But the real stars this season are the family-style plates. Dishes like Grandma Capozzolo's meatballs and linguine, or the bolognese, aren't just big portions. They're designed for three to four people to pass, share, and linger over, because the best meals are the ones you don't rush through.

Save room for dessert. The handmade gelato rotates through specialty flavors, and every spoonful is worth it. This is Italian comfort food done right.
