Eight Peaks
Sunday River is a sprawling resort that spans eight peaks, each with their own personalities and terrain. Explore what the peaks have here an on the slopes.
-
Steep & Deep
White Cap
White Heat has long held its place as Sunday River’s signature double diamond - featuring a dastardly combination of steeps and bumps that send endorphin levels off the charts. But no matter which way you head off any of White Cap’s lifts, it's the stuff that dreams are made of.

Past Meets Present
Locke Mountain
As home of the first rails ever cut at Sunday River, Locke Mountain combines old school New England terrain with modern refinement. The resort’s two race trails cut a straight line from the summit to the base and serve as home to our race development programs.
-
Tried & True
Barker Mountain
Barker Mountain is where it all began and to this day it continues to provide access to some of Sunday River's best ski and snowboard terrain. Whether you're hoping to do laps for maximum vertical or sample a smorgasbord of varied terrain, Barker is the place to be.
-
Corduroy & Cruisers
Spruce Peak
Nested in the center of the Sunday River range, Spruce offers access to a slew of groomers and easy access to either end of the resort. Whether you lean toward Downdraft’s steeps, the reliable rush of Risky Business, or the gentle pitch from Sirus to Aurora, Spruce knows how to get down.
-
Lunch & Launch
North Peak
As the destination peak for the East’s one and only high speed Chondola, North Peak is also home to Sunday River’s terrain parks, including the East’s longest superpipe. For those who appreciate lunch with a view, the Peak Lodge is the ideal place to nosh and make plans for the perfect afternoon.
-
Glades & Grins
Aurora Peak
Glades. Groomer. Cruisers. Bumps. Narrows. No matter how you like your terrain, Aurora serves it up. Tucked neatly between Spruce Peak and Oz, Aurora’s slopes offer plenty of terrain choices - and plenty of room to lose yourself in the moment.
-
Natural & Gnarly
Oz
From the moment you ease off the chair and onto the trails of Oz, you're in for a journey you won't forget. Blessed with a series of the River's toughest double diamond trails and glades, Oz is a thrill seeker's paradise with terrain you'll want to experience again and again.
-
Big & Bold
Jordan Bowl
Jordan Bowl claims its place as our biggest peak - and one of the resort’s most breathtaking destinations. With clear day views of Mt. Washington, Jordan Bowl is the perfect setting for every type of terrain from leisurely groomers to pulse pounding glades.
